◎Introduction

This product is an environmentally friendly thermosetting powder composed of thermosetting bisphenol A epoxy resin and phenolic curing agent as the film-forming main body, silicon micro powder, barium sulfate, and titanium dioxide as filler components, supplemented by a small number of additives and pigments coating. The product can be painted by electrostatic spraying and fluidized bed dipping. During the spraying process, you can choose one-time spraying and curing to form a film, or you can choose second-time spraying to form a film.

◎Application Field

This product is a fast-curing anti-corrosion powder coating, which can provide high-quality anti-corrosion protection for buried metal pipelines, pipeline connection valves, water pipe connectors, etc.

◎Product Features

1. It is specially designed for pipeline anti-corrosion, meets the sanitary and safety requirements of water-wading products (water pipes, valves), and has excellent physical properties and chemical corrosion resistance.

◎Coating Reference

1. Spraying Method: electrostatic spraying and thermal spraying are mainly used, and fluidized bed spraying can also be used.

2. Oil Removal and Drying: Generally, the surface of the pipeline is burned to remove oil stains and moisture.

3. Shot Blasting or Sandblasting: the surface treatment quality should reach Sa2 1/2 level, the anchor pattern depth should be within the range of 40~100 um, and it should be cleaned and sprayed within 8 hours after treatment.

4. Pre-heat Temperature: The preheating temperature of the substrate should be controlled at 220~260°C, and the preheating time should be 20~30 minutes (according to the size of the workpiece substrate such as pipes, valves, etc., make corresponding adjustments).

5. Curing Conditions: 160°C~190°C/10~20min (according to the size of the workpiece substrate such as pipes and valves, make corresponding adjustments).

6. Coating of Epoxy Powder: After the workpiece is preheated and released, it is directly sprayed while hot, and then sent to the curing furnace for heating and curing after thermal spraying. The recommended thickness of the coating is 250~500um.

7. Leak Detection: Use an electric spark leak detector to detect leaks on the entire coating of each tube when the coating temperature is lower than 100°C, and the voltage is 5V/um.

◎Precautions

1. The particle size of the powder corresponding to different coating methods will be different, please make a request in advance.

2. Different spraying thicknesses will affect the color, gloss, appearance, etc.

◎Transport and Storage

1. Packed in carton, net weight 20Kg.

2. Non-dangerous goods, no special transportation requirements.

3. Store in a cool and dry place below 25°C.

4. The shelf life is 6 months.
